Plan, Plan, Plan
This tip might seem obvious but it’s amazing how easy it is to forget the little things when we’re looking at the bigger picture. Start planning at least a month in advance to move to your new place. Break your tasks into smaller goals and set a date against each goal to help you stay on track (for example: you want your garage packed three weeks prior to d-day). Crossing off items on a to-do list will give you a sense of achievement and prevent last-minute panic. Not just that, you’ll be certain not to miss anything out and will have a more efficient moving experience.
Enlist Help
We know relocation expenses can take a toll on your bank account but if you can afford it, try to hire a relocation service. There are plenty of affordable relocation companies and with a little bit of research, you’ll be able to find relocation assistance within your budget. Having someone else take care of your packing and moving will save you a lot of time and stress.
